USM foreman average over 15 years of experience.  Our crews are full time, year-round permanent professionals that are equipped with the latest in safety equipment.  In addition, our crews hold weekly on-the-job safety meetings.

Each USM crew is equipped with a special substation painting truck including grounds, shot gun sticks, hot sticks, safety flags for energized conductors, 20,000 volt rubber gloves and leather protectors, voltage meters, barricades and safety tape.  Providing the proper equipment, and employees trained to use the equipment, insures all USM projects are completed safely.
